Thank you for your support over the past 18 years

With sad but grateful hearts, we announce that after 18 very successful years, From The Heart is ending our fabulous run.

We could not have done it without all of our generous donors. I am pleased to announce that each of the nine groups from 2025 will receive $10,000 a piece.

I'd also like to thank all the groups and their directors who helped make our fundraiser the success it was.

I'd like to send a very special thank you out to Chuck Watkins, Sarah Flannigan, and Tonja Greenfield for all their hard work behind the scenes, they work tireless hours volunteering their time every year to raise money for these nonprofits.

Thank you, Rochelle, for 18 very successful years of From The Heart.

Sincerely,

David Eckhardt

CASA-15th Judicial Circuit

CASA-15th Judicial Circuit volunteers are men and women who want to help their community's children.  They work for the judge, alongside attorneys and social workers, as officers of the court.

When a volunteer advocate is appointed to a child's case he or she is responsible for taking the time to find out as much as possible about that child.  Volunteers review records, interview parents, talk to teachers, neighbors, and, most importantly, the child. CASA volunteers then appear in court to recommend to the judge the actions and services that meet that particular child's needs at that particular moment in his or her life and for the child's future.

ROCHELLE CHRISTIAN FOOD PANTRY

The Rochelle Christian Food Pantry (RCFP) opened its doors in 1982 and for 40 years provided food and other needed supplies at no cost to thousands of individuals and families. The RCFP is funded through the generous support of the area churches, individual and corporate donations and funds provided by the Federal Government. Some food is purchased from the Northern Illinois Food Bank where $1 purchases $8 worth of food. Additionally, area businesses generously donate food to the pantry. The RCFP uses volunteers from the area churches to staff the pantry when it is open on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The RCFP has seen a significant increase in individuals and families accessing its services with the recent economic situation. The RCFP is very grateful to the From the Heart organization for its generosity over the past many years. For more information on the RCFP please find us on Facebook or contact us at contact 815-562-6654.
